San Francisco-based, Stanford Hotels Corporation, announces today the appointment of James Counihan as General Manager of its Sheraton Airport Hotel, Ontario, California.
Mr. Counihan, formerly Director of Operations with a sister hotel within the Group, Sheraton Gateway Hotel San Francisco International Airport, joined Stanford Hotels in 1994 and held a variety of Rooms Division management positions over the years.
"James's leadership over the past ten years as the hotel experienced the heady successes of the "Dot.com" era and the challenges of the "Dot.com" crash and downturns in the Bay Area economy, has been critical to our successes in all times of those cycles," said the Senior Vice President - Operations, Clyde Guinn. Mr. Guinn went on to say, "We are very excited to have James follow Chandler Vadhera, now at our Woodland Hills Hilton, as our new General Manager in Ontario."
