Stanford Hotels Corp. Names Terry Walberg
Vice President and Corporate Controller

SAN FRANCISCO, CA

Stanford Hotels Corp., a San Francisco based company specializing in the management of full-service hotels, has named Terry Wallberg vice president and corporate controller.
Wallberg will be responsible for budgeting, financial controls, policies and procedures, management reporting and financial analysis for the hotel company. He takes the place of Michael Wisner, who was promoted to senior vice president and chief financial officer for Stanford.

"Terry's experience and in-depth knowledge of accounting and finance in the hospitality industry will only add to Stanford Hotels' success," said Senior Vice President of Operations Clyde Guinn. "We believe he will provide valuable, effective leadership in the financial management of our market-leading properties."

Previous to his appointment with Stanford, Wallberg acted as vice president and chief financial officer for Alliance Hospitality Management, the primary administrator of more than 42 properties owned by Winston Hotels. His role was to direct tax and financial planning, accounting, external reporting, cash management, and all internal control systems.

Prior to this position, Wallberg was the chief financial officer for DCB Investments, a parent company to a number of residential and commercial real estate investments.

In addition, Wallberg held several titles with Metro Hotels, an independent hotel management company with a portfolio of more than 20 hotels. Before his departure, Wallberg had been named executive vice president and chief financial officer.

Stanford Hotels Corp operates 17 full-service properties across the nation. Management objectives aim to maximize market value for each property through long-term commitment, and to produce outstanding hotel environments that lead to exceptional over-all guest satisfaction.
