Charlotte, N.C.- The Hilton Charlotte Center City contributed a
$3000 endowment toward the establishment of an annual
scholarship fund for Johnson & Wales students. The
Stanford Hotels Corporation owner of the hotel has
established the scholarship fund for deserving students of
the School of Culinary Arts and the Hospitality College at
Johnson & Wales Charlotte campus. The Scholarships will be
awarded annually to students that demonstrate
extraordinary academic and career ability combined with
financial need. The fund will enable Johnson & Wales to
help retain outstanding students whose academic
accomplishments will enhance and help build the reputation
of the Hospitality College and School of Culinary Arts.
